Welcome

It is a great honour for me to invite you to the Central European Conference on Logistics 2024 (CECOL 2024), which will take place from 22-24 April 2024 at Hotel Palota**** in Lillafüred.

The conference will celebrate the 40th anniversary of logistics education and research at the University of Miskolc, as well as the 70th birthday of Prof. Dr. Béla Illés, and we invite and welcome the participation of all our partners in education, research and those interested in the latest developments in logistics. The event will be an excellent opportunity for professionals in the field of logistics to establish new professional contacts, present research results and exchange experiences. The main organizers of the event are the Logistics Institute of the University of Miskolc and the Logistics Department of the Scientific Society for Mechanical Engineering.

The official language of the conference is English, but it is also possible to hold lectures in Hungarian and German. In all cases, we ask that the presentation materials be prepared in English.

In addition to the presentation, we provide the opportunity to publish the achieved results as follows:A collection of the best papers will be evaluated by Springer, for publication in one of their book series, e.g. Lecture Notes In Logistics (indexed by SCOPUS). Those peer-reviewed publications that did not meet the strict quality criteria are published in an international journal "Advanced Logistics Systems – Theory and Practice.
